Creepy Crawlies! Frontline, Advantage and K-9 Advantix Get Rid of The Bugs Fast!

by Patsy Lemmon

Yikes! Did you spot yucky parasites like fleas or ticks on your dog’s skin? They can be hard to see, especially on dogs with dark hair, but once you notice them, you can’t get rid of that sinking feeling - knowing tha there are more and you may never be able to catch them all.

Before I started using Frontline for dog fleas on my guide dog puppy in training, Kera, my paranoia about dog fleas and ticks was constant!

Just mull it over for a minute… When do you fret about fleas on your dog? Is it when you cuddle with your dog on the sofa or in bed? Is it when you see your dog scratch-scratch-scratching at that same place all the time? What about when you go out for walks and your dog brushes against some tall grass or shrubs?

There are plenty of good flea and tick products available in the market, including Frontline and, canine Advantix and Advantage for dogs… If you’ve been wrestling with dog fleas and ticks, you might want to test out a flea repellent of some sort.

So, ask yourself : What do you need in a flea or tick treatment for your dog?

* Stop the itching for your dog or cat

* Kill the fleas and ticks that are bedeviling your pet

* Break the flea life cycle so they don’t come back!

* Safe flea control for my pet and my family

Name brand products like K-9 Advantix, Advantage, or Frontline for dog flea issues, are proven to be both safe and effective. In fact, they’re sold and advised by vets across the nation.

Not only do these products eliminate flea and tick issues, but they can stop the spread of the threatening sicknesses ( like Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever ) that these parasites help to propagate.

It’s important to use your flea and tick control regularly. This not only ensures continued flea and tick relief for your pets, but helps avoid breeding resistant strains of bugs in your household.

Do not let your pet suffer with itching that leads to scratching and irritation. Don’t worry if the bugs and their offspring are widening to your furniture, carpet and yard.

Instead, get assurance and protect yourself with a good, safe flea control product. Find out if your vet recommends Advantage, Advantix or Frontline for dog flea issues, or another product altogether - you’ll be glad you asked so you don’t have to fret any more!

There are a couple of other points here.

1) Fleas can host the larval stage of tapeworm, worm your dog.

2) A household spray with a good insect growth inhibitor should help break that life cycle.

3) Vacuum the house.

4) If all else fails turn off the central heating during winter.
